Our brains are wired to think 60-70% negative thoughts (to help us stay safe) so it’s important we recognise when our thoughts are real, or exaggerated stories we’ve told ourselves from past events or future fears.

Like many people, I’ve faced a range of challenges in my life including divorce, redundancy, menopause, career beginnings and endings, single-parenthood, and the loss of close friends and family. These experiences have taught me a great deal about myself, and enabled me to relate to others with empathy and understanding.

I wish I’d had a coach to help me see a positive way forward through the difficult phases of my life, I know it would have made a huge difference to my confidence, understanding, attitude and decision-making.
